Feeding Therapy

Evidence-based pediatric and adult feeding therapy.

Pediatric feeding therapy is a highly specialized area of speech-language pathology that requires extensive post-graduate education and clinical experience. Robyn has thousands of hours of training in feeding development, sensory processing and oral placement approaches to feeding.

Feeding concerns addressed include:

  • Failure to thrive / poor weight gain
  • Breastfeeding and bottle feeding difficulties in infants
  • Texture aversion and selective eating
  • Gagging, choking, or aspiration risk
  • Tube feeding weaning support
  • Post-frenectomy feeding rehabilitation
  • Feeding difficulties related to ASD, Down syndrome, CP and other diagnoses

Robyn co-authored A Sensory Motor Approach to Feeding — an evidence-based text for clinicians and parents on the underpinnings of feeding disorders across a variety of diagnoses.
